Hi Nathan,
Sorry the screenshot had cut off some details.
I just did a pathping from my desktop to give an example to as it pings each hop to try and identify packet loss for each hop along the way and it started at the telstra kit.
This was obviously from an iinet link and still showed some packet loss of ~12% on the telstra kit

Hi Russell,
So that’s showing it’s the destination they are tracing too, that third last hop visible that you mentioned is a Telstra Internet CE interface or a Transit service or similar.
They should contact the end user who looks to be the Internet Association of Australia possibly or at least Joe or Tim may be able to help you figure out why/how.

Hi,
This is what a customer sent me, (they are on a telstra link) but it appears to be coming out of their connection ok and starts to drop further upstream

That looks like the CE address of a TID service. Are you sure the issue is not something on the customer side of the link?

-Brad.

Having some issues with packet drops starting at [ http://wes2260191.lnk.telstra.net/ | wes2260191.lnk.telstra.net ] [139.130.102.246] confirmed from a couple of connection i have
Nothing on Telstra status pages that i can see and causing some connection issues between sites.
Anyone aware of these issues?
