You signed up for the wrong service.

It sounds like you wanted one where it’s unbundled and you can BYO CPE (for voice, at least).

But you signed up for a bundled service with managed CPE.

They don’t have to provide you with the SIP password. Using your own ATA isn’t part of their service definition, is unlikely to be supported, and certainly isn’t what you’ve contracted with them to provide.

My advice would be to cancel the service and order a different one which meets your requirements.
