Looks like the term to use is MSP and/or "Sysadmin as a Service" and the industry appears
to be alive and well here.

Thanks to those who responded with contact details and suggestions. The project has
numerous other preconditions to meet prior to hitting the "go" button, but it's now clear
that availability of the sort of deployment/prod support they need shouldn't be a problem.
