[AusNOG] Interesting ISP stats

Internet speed metrics derived from a single type of traffic may not tell a
complete story of the performance of a particular ISP.  For example, how
would the average punter know if the ISP was giving priority to Netflix or
YouTube streams at the expense of other types of traffic to get a good
score?

I contributed to some research on this topic in 2013 that was presented at
NANOG 60.  As few things have changed since then, but externally measuring
the speed of ISPs is still difficult (refer to ACCC thread from the other
day).
