Offer of a second opinion remains open – we have a good relationship with the vendor, and in the end bugs in hardware and software don’t get fixed until they are reproducible and reported to vendor support :-}

I don't have performance issues. I have interfaces randomly dropping and staying down until you shut/no shut equiv to them.
And I have a MT guy who is at a loss to explain why they are doing it.
