[AusNOG] Rooftop Datacentre Space Renting - UHF/VHF Aerial Point

In my experience, most DCs tend not to be in great spots for RF (with some
notable exceptions). It is usually the customer's responsibility to serve
the building with a low impact notice and bring the RF into a carrier area
to be cross-connected.

FWIW, I'm in the process of doing something similar for a not-for-profit
without a carriers licence - it has so far worked out a lot cheaper and
easier to colocate the RF site somewhere else and overkill the
connectivity/power redundancy than to go ahead with lawyers and substantial
capital works in someone else's facility. There are a number of specialist
land mobile wireless operators who already have sites with purpose-built RF
colocation, complete with redundant power and backhaul. AMR (
http://amr.net.au/) would be a good first point of call for a service like
this.

Hit me up off-list if you need any further information.
