[AusNOG] Issue getting routes from Telstra to 49.156.16.0/22

Securing the routing plane has been an issue for a long time.

Even YouTube wasn't immune to it:

http://www.renesys.com/blog/2008/02/pakistan_hijacks_youtube_1.shtml

The IETF SIDR working group have been trying to come up with a solution for
a while, but I haven't been closely following their work. I assume that once
the vendors are finished arguing and get this in code, the RIRs and other
research organisations will have a chance to study the impact it has on
global convergence. Then we may see some movementŠ.

Note that this is different to RPKIŠ

Yes I fully agree.

I should be able to escalate this complaint to Dodo or the respective
parties at Telstra but I expect it to fall on Deaf ears.

Any idea what the path of action to take in this situation is?
