Abstract: Silver Peak is doing exciting things in WAN optimisation,
data centre consolidation, and offsite data transfer. This
session will include a short presentation and discussion on
the issues and possible solutions, and a nice demo of how
it's possible to negate jitter and packet loss in streaming
multimedia. It's not going to be a product pitch, but you'll
see why Google, eBay, Facebook, Apple, and EMC all use and
	recommend Silver Peak.

Speaker: Wayne Neich is a great speaker and you should get a lot
out of this session, whether you look after small or large
systems. He's the Regional Director Oceania for Silver
Peak and has extensive experience in large and small
networks, data centres, and internet technologies. He's
previously held consultant and sales roles with Datacraft,
Nortel, and Blue Coat. Our thanks to Wayne for generously
sponsoring food and drinks for this meeting.
