[AusNOG] [v6z] Why you shouldn't worry about switching to IPv6 now

Its plain scarey that this article got published and further that some of
you think it's all the isp's problem. But typical of SME and SME minded
people, they think its always someone else's problem and never there's and
they shouldn't have to pay for it.
At the end of the day this article is just trolling. From an SME point of
view it should be on technology list when upgrading key equipment even if
you don't use it now.
Think /b has this covered.. Obvious troll is obvious.

Thank you Scott.
I was sitting here, having just read the article thinking 'umm, what is
wrong with what he is saying' especially for consumers and small business.
But the entire list seemed to be upset and I wasn't wanting to start Friday
with being flamed…. But since you brought it up, I will support you.
From the perspective of those end-users that "don’t know the difference" I
don't see a problem with this article in that while we don’t like what it
says, it seems to be entirely appropriate and accurate.
Also, I am assuming the article was written in response to the thousands of
'end of the world' articles about v6 and that we all have to move… NOW.
If you know me, you will know that I am a massive supporter of IPv6, given
talks on it all over the region and my company is probably the largest
'external' (doing it for other peoples networks) integrators of IPv6 in this
country (and others)… but reality is reality and this article is just
speaking the truth, no matter how much we may not like to hear it.
