That wasn't hard to find,
http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KV3600&CATID=25&form=CAT&SUBCATID=432
You do have to do a bit more to it then just get that,
A)
you need to setup a relay bank to handle the step up from 5v logic to 12 ignition to the genset (also the genset obviously needs to be keystart so you can logic replicate)
B) set a genMonitor, so when the power fails you go to UPS (just a high amp / voltage manual relay will suffice)
this monitor will trigger a logic signal back to the USB experimentation kit that triggers your visual basic program to start the gen up.
I set the system to wait 1.25 minutes for the genset to power on and then test to see if power is flowing through the gen circuit .
C) to monitor the gen circuit at jaycar you can buy some industrial power monitors (digital ones) that allow you to then wire into your setup (back to the USB experimentation board) a analog (important because its used to test the stability and cleanness of your gen output) back into the board which then interfaces with your visual basic program to then switch the jump relay over (5v relay to 12v relay to 240v to 240v High amp relay) to the backup circuit.
if the gen doesn't start I have it set to send me a fail sms and kill the program.. (poor servers go night night)
then when power gets restored you can sense that again using the same system as the gen circuit uses (you will need one for each circuit) and then switch the jump relays over to primary and shut genset over.
easy :)
enjoy... I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HOUSE FIRES!
Cheers!

I am so thankful for their support.
