I was 90% sure that's where it would have come from (people suck at
crypto as badly as they suck at bounds checking in C) - I'll make sure
whoever is looking into it knows now so they can save some time and
effort.

Correct.  It's most likely to be the ACMA list plus about 1300
proprietary URLs obtained from a PC filtering package.

A post by Whirlpool user Tom Joad was deleted last night, which detailed
a step-by-step procedure for extracting a list called Websites_ACMA.txt
from one of the software packages distributed by the ACMA until the end
of last year.

Several other Whirlpool users duplicated his procedure for the purpose
of verification.
