To an outsider it is surprising to watch this play out and not whither away from non-support.  Will the people there let something like this pass?

I guess those providers that sign up will become niche providers and reduce the number of customers they will be able to sign up.  Those customers being folks that want access to the entire internet, not just part of it.  Yes?
