Just a heads up from experience in the past, if the internet provider does not have PNG govt approval you risk equipment confiscation, fines etc.

Eg https://www.nbc.com.pg/post/14296/starlink-license-under-court-review (or in the past https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/pacific-news/154953/png-police-shut-down-unlicensed-australian-satellite-link)

Starlink for sure.

My wife is a travelling nurse and doctor in PNG and does trips every few months. It's widely used over there, They have a backpack with a Starlink mini inside it. It's GPS Tracked using one of my designed GPS Trackers.
Yes, Theft is a major issue, They have had medical supplies and laptops stolen. But be vigilant and it's typically a non issue.

Another alternative is AirAlo, I have used them extensively on Global SIM cards They are great value and offer Private IPSEC Tunnels to your own network (As long as you buy enough)

They suggested Starlink but I would imagine that the dish would get knicked one day
