The PlusOptic gear from 4Cabling (https://www.4cabling.com.au/fibre-products/rj45-media-converters/sfp-modules.html?trans_vendor=PlusOptic) is excellent stuff, their optics have never failed for as long as I've used them. Bill from their product team is an oracle when it comes to this sort of stuff. They do all the coding in-house if they don't have it on the shelf.
Yes, you may pay a little more than FS.com however it's backed by an Australian-owned and operated team and they can do same-day warranty claims if they have the stock (not that I've ever had a need to). They also usually keep stock in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as well for those not in Sydney.
