Hi Michael,

The hotel with which we organised the discount rate was chosen based on the convenience and practicality with respect to the conference.  If people wish to leave the events we provide and go out drinking afterwards then the Uber app is their friend.  But, being the Gold Coast, there's a multitude of accommodation options so I'm sure there's something that fits your requirements.
