[AusNOG] Fibre Cut in Sydney - Vocus

Hi All,

Does anyone know anything more about this? http://status.vocus.com.au/view-incident.aspx?IncidentID=414

"A major fibre cut in Sydney is currently impacting international connectivity to New Zealand and the USA. Field resources are working on restoring services."

As a result, there are a few Telcos/ISPs in Fiji and Vanuatu (and I daresay NZ as well) that are completely hard-down, as their international routing is via Vocus. No mobile service, no internet service, no nothing international.
