It happened to my daughter's pre-paid that was due to be recharged
at 23:00 last night and it had worked like this for months. When
I finally was able to contact Optus, via online chat, they told me
it was because marketing had decided not to process recharges because
there are new plans.
Optus have my email. They could have contacted me to say that they
weren't going to do the recharge as requested. It is how they say
they will inform me if the recharge fails.
I'm sure lots of other parents recharge their children's phones like
this as it limits the damage they can do. If she chews threw all
the credit she still has Optus to Optus so she can contact us.
