The industry has spent the last two decades training consumers to
respond to speed. Look at any RSP website or advertisement. They're
full of terms like "Boost" and "Superfast" and all the price tiers are
based on speed.
Exactly what else does the industry expect consumers to do in the face
of this onslaught?
You can't have it both ways. Either stop deceptively advertising
services based on speed or deliver on the marketing. The third choice
of blaming the consumer for not understanding the complexity of the
Internet, is just so much hubris.
