As someone that has worked in the university sector and gone through the extremely difficult process of gaining funding for research in technology - including data security (done by people with people with extensive qualifications), I really cannot understand this reckless approach taken by the government, that appears to allow people to make some very unjustified requests for $$. Stunned to say the least. +1 for the audit. You would lose your job in an instant and be stripped of your right to do research if you made such fraudulent claims of your “capabilities” and actual expenses.

I thought we asked for a lot of money.... $30k
Anyone other than the big 4 networks asking for more than $100k I hope you get audited and charged with fraud.
I have lost a lot of respect for some networks operators and people on this list after seeing how much they have requested.
Nick

Looking at this list and knowing the size of some of these networks first hand, I'm completely speechless..... Hookers and blow for some companies this week I'd say!

Why? Gov't offers money, you don't turn it down. May as well wet your beak
properly, might be a while before you get another shot.
