I honestly don’t know
But I would imagine their isn’t Amazon Prime appliances like the Netflix ones around the place so I would imagine there would have been some data to the Amazon servers on the weekend.

Amazon removed the geoblocking after a couple of hours, didn't they? (Or so my facebook feed seemed to suggest)

More wondering if Amazon is as richly connected/cached in AU/NZ as Netflix for launch...

Same questions were asked when Netflix launched and since then things have been just fine. Anyone know if Amazon has a similar OpenConnect-style CDN network?

Really doubt 4K will be highly available for most… but we’ll just have to wait and see.
