[AusNOG] Vocus just entered a trading halt

TPG have tried. Voda didn't want to.

Originally Voda wanted iiNet... nice brand fit, but Hutchison (50% owner of
Vodafone Australia) didn't have the appetite after the whole Vodafail thing.

TPG wanted Hutch's half... but TPG's low-value brand does not fit with the
premium brand of Vodafone.

I think Vodafone will wait a year or so, see how TPG treats the iiNet
brand. Then might consider something. But Hutch might not want out anymore,
or Voda might buy back their half... who knows. Voda is back on track, the
network is stable while Telstras is falling apart.
