Hi Aurelle,

Unless it’s changed very recently, I don’t believe any IOS images contain G.vector support in their bundled chipset firmware, so you’ll need to copy a separate image (as you suspected).

The release notes for the firmware does mention that the firmware is also to be used for the EHWIC-VA-DSL cards, and Cisco software centre also mentions it for some versions.

The version I’m currently running with no problems on a C887VA is at https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=285003535&flowid=49283&softwareid=282821780&release=VA_A_39m_B_38h3_24ho&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest <https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=285003535&flowid=49283&softwareid=282821780&release=VA_A_39m_B_38h3_24ho&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest> which should also work for the EHWIC cards, and I see there’s also a later one (A2pv6C039t) that seems to be a recent addition.

Cheers,

Al
