Hi Noggers
over here at ACCAN <http://accan.org.au>, we are running an IoT security
project <http://accan.org.au/grants/current-grants/1255-iot-threats>
focusing on smart home devices (ie internet connectable general home
devices/appliances) in partnership with UNSW engineering.
To get a good sample of devices to test, we're keen to hear of what is most
commonly in use. So, not necessarily what you'd recommend, but what smart
home devices you are actually seeing deployed on your customers' networks.
Please let us know specific brands and types where possible.
Eg lighting, coffee makers, door locks, security monitors, fridges,
televisions, air conditioners... whatever you can actually buy and connect
to the internet or manage via an internet connected device. What you are
seeing on retail consumer connections only, thanks.
TIA and replies off list please,
Narelle
