A considerate, technically-savvy would be deleting all the un-necessary, 
irrelevant swarf.

You'd only need to scroll if it was a lengthy reply, or there were many 
parts in the original email being replied to, and then the advantage is 
that each reply is immediately preceeded by a (hopefully small) quote of 
the original to give context to the following reply.

Regardless of how "easy" it might be in product a, b or c, which may or 
may not re-arrange, hide or otherwise insulate you from the crud, it's 
inconsiderate and disrespectful at the very least.

(I suppose there are a few young pups who've never experienced 
ye-olde-school mailing lists and ettiquite thereof)
