Hi All,
Real World is pleased to announce that we have organised, in partnership
with Dell Australia, a Data Retention Q&A and Workshop on Tuesday 28th July
at the Dell Solutions Centre, Frenchs Forest, Sydney.
Our guest speaker/presenter is David Ohri, Senior Associate from Thomson
Geer. David has spent a large amount of his time over the last six months
working with the Data Retention legislation and advising customers on how
to respond, implement and process the range of conflicting information
available.
He will provide an overview of the data retention legislation and how it
applies in practice. We will also spend some time workshopping real world
examples of how to retain, massage and store data that needs to be retained
- with a view to providing you with a head start on completing your DRIPs.
There will also be an opportunity to inspect some of the latest Dell
technologies and solutions, with a particular look at how some of their
server and storage technologies can assist with some of the more "complex"
requirements of the DR legislation such as encryption and processing.
This is a limited attendance event, and we already have a number of seats
taken - so make sure you register quickly as we expect the remaining seats
will be taken fast.

*I imagine that there will still be some ISOC-AU events as well. This is
not one!*
Thanks,
Andrew
