I too would agree with the statement that we can all "Learn to live with it, regardless of how it works out"
Or we simply find another way to get around the NBN and create another company identical to the NBN with a better network plan and from the news articles that were flying around a while back, TPG plan to do exactly this.
After all, they do have the assets to do this with the ownership of Pipe Networks, etc.

I hate that argument.
It's the same one that Malcolm Turnbull made after we petitioned to keep the FTTP network design as proposed by Labor in the first place, when he told us all that the people had spoken, democracy had done its job and we should all just go away.
The Liberals won the election in SPITE of the NBN, not because of it.
I think Karl is spot on, though I agree with Simon's point of view that he can do better being in the NBNCo team on the board rather than on the outside complaining like the rest of us.
I could go on about this topic for ages but I'll leave it at that. Politics are politics, its all a done deal these days and we will learn to live with it, regardless of how it works out.
Thanks,
Ayden Beeson

Karl,
I think you are missing one key point, the current Government was elected by the people of Australia, not by the people of Wingepool.
The policy of FTTN was no secret prior to the election.
Blaming Simon is for any of this is most unfair.
I too would prefer FTTP, but it ain't going to happen under this Government.
Get with the program or run for Government!
