These are NOT public DNS servers.

They are L3's DNS servers for their customers, which they happen not to
restrict access to.  There is no guarantee that they will continue to be
available in the future.

They actually have 4.2.2.1 through 4.2.2.6. In general .5 and .6 are more
reliable (.1 and .2 especially have a habit of being flaky). They are all
anycast, but last I looked none of them were available in Australia - which
makes them a bad choice for anyone there.
