[AusNOG] TPG NOC CONTACT

Some days I wonder why it's so hard to motivate AusNOG as the network
operators of Australia to take action or at least canvas in a professional
forum some of the legislative and regulatory changes that face the
operations of networks in Australia. We've had years after years of bad
regulation attempts from both sides of parliament which make the redefine
the roles and rules in the industry and co-opt the operators of modern
technology into being the government's enforcement arm in society and the
economy for problems that people who don't understand networks at all -
much less to the extent we do - think should be our role.

Other days I read that someone thinks there's actually a legislative
instrument called "the Cyber Crimes Act"

Then I drink.
