Pacnet remains committal to interconnections and encourage such ecosystems at all our DCs.

We have been in touch with Megaport staff and are currently reviewing detailed scope of works and LAAN to help Megaport light SYCS1 ASAP.

Yes I can confirm from our experience that FirstPath installed in Pacnet 133 Liverpool a while ago and Pacnet were a pleasure to deal with and took a neutral position.

PacNet do run DCs for customers, I have kit in their Sydney DC (133 Liverpool St). I don't believe PacNet were blocking anything though - I've been told that MP is coming to PacNet's Sydney DC for a few months now (by both PacNet and MP staff).

Congrats on the long slog Bevan and MP!

With this victory now, will it enable MP to enter even Telstra/Pacnet etc DCs now? Or is that.. not the same? I guess since PIPE/TPG operate DCs for customers, whereas Telstra/pacnet is purely internal/end user use?

Thanks John. I'd like to also thank the patient Megaport customers in PIPE (and a few other telco facilities) who continue to support our attempts to innovate. I'd also like to thank the TIO.

Will post the full TIO determination once legal has given its blessing. It makes great reading.

And I just sent Bevan a note thanking him for once again doing the heavy lifting for the industry.

Beat me to it John. Low impact facilities just became a lot less hassle now someone else has spent the money establishing the precedent you can point to next time building management kicks up a fuss.

Thanks Megaport!

Oooh yeeah, it's good.

This also means it will require legislative change to prevent a competitive FTTB operator from entering an apartment basement.

This is good. Very good.

For those that have been waiting to get Megaport in PIPE’s DC’s, it may now be possible (finally)!
