[AusNOG] iiNet Issue

All (and certainly _not_ to Anthony in particular),

It seems like once a week someone posts to AusNOG wanting real-time assistance from iiNet.

AusNOG != iiNet NOC

Although significant numbers of iiNet Network staff frequent the list, there is no guarantee that requests for help will be responded to in a timely manner.

A mailing list should not be a replacement for a proper, deterministic contact and escalation path for faults.

To Anthony directly, please contact iiNet via the mechanisms other posters have already suggested. If that fails to produce the outcomes you desire, then I will endeavour to assist. In that case I'd also be keen to hear feedback about how contacting the NOC didnt work - I'll make sure that feedback is passed on to the relevant people.

Brad

Anyone from iiNet on list?
Can you contact me off-list regarding an urgent matter?
