Also FYI,

According to this, that card is certified with RHEL 5.4 so assuming you are up to date and centOS isn't lagging you will be fine with 6 :)

You would need SFP's as well, the HP ones are:

HP X132 10G SFP+ LC SR Transceiver (J9150A)<http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/networking/products/switches/HP_3800_Switch_Series/index.aspx#J9150A>

Or

HP X132 10G SFP+ LC LRM Transceiver (J9152A)<http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/networking/products/switches/HP_3800_Switch_Series/index.aspx#J9152A>

The LRM's are slightly less cost normally (not sure about HP) but go slightly less distance due to the different wavelength.

Hi Noggers,

I'm sure someone on list will have the answer off the top of their heads. I've been googling all morning and can't get a definitive answer.

We have a bunch of HP DL360 G7 servers. We now have a requirement for a 10Gbps NIC (multimode) in a few of them. Is this the right product for doing this:

 http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/10440075

The high res picture there doesn't look like it has the right connectors. Also are there any other bits and pieces we need like SFP's? If you have part numbers it would really help me out.

-James

P.S. Running CentOS 6 if it makes any difference. Would be great if we could use the built-in OS drivers.
