Yes, not long ago something similar came up.

I recommended the Dynamix RPSW10A8 which is 1RU, 8x IEC C13 Outlets, switched, web-managable (unsure about a CLI option!) metered and so-on.
There is also a 16A version.
In NZ you can get these from Computer Dynamics (cdlnz.com)
If you search the archive someone posted an AU based suppleir for these too IIRC.

APC have one (and I know it has both serial and telnet support in addition to web); the 16A vendor part number (VPN) is AP7821.
APC in NZ are distributed by Westcon Group or Ingram Micro.

Cheers
Mark.

PS: Had a bad experience with an Eaton branded managed PDU recently - not particularly keen on them.

I think this has come up on the list before (check archives). You could try WTI ones:

Hi All,

I'm looking around for a 1 RU switch PDU with good telnet/ssh services that doesn't cost the earth. We've been trailing the Aten PN9108 but it's Telnet daemon is iffy and descriptions for the ports aren't displayed in terminal. I've looked at the Eaton IPC 3601 but it's price tag is a tad high at $1400+ NZD,

I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for a 1 RU unit, 6 ports + , RS232 (not usb) and Ethernet, Simple and solid telnet/ssh. It would be sitting in very remote sites with a OOB uplink so stability is key, Ideally under $1k

Cheers :)
