[AusNOG] Issue with configuration on VYOS

You need to stop assuming and start reading the plentiful amount of documentation available on how to do a VyOS upgrade or install. A basic, 2 minute google search will highlight a link on Vyos.net about "How to migrate from Vyatta" which answers all your questions.
