[AusNOG] Microsoft Content from NON Local Mirror

Dear All

For the past few weeks Office 365 has been routing "weird" what we have noticed is whilst Microsoft peer in NSW Pipe they are not sending many prefixes to pipe, ironically they send a lot more routes to Equinix peering.

It will be interesting when Microsoft start operating out of NextDC locally how local routes will look...

... whoami.akamai.net<http://whoami.akamai.net> returns the IP of the DNS resolver that your query routed through, not the Akamai POP.  If you try to trace it, you'll logically end up tracerouting your DNS resolver, not Akamai.

When i traceroute it from home, i get google's dns server of 74.125.187.82 in the US
