[AusNOG] Transit over Megaport - who?

Hi Skeeve,

If a person requests dual physical connections into MP fabric, I would
hope MP would come to the party with a 'standby' cost of that second
one. Obviously the Cross Connect cost is still on the connecting party
in their relevant DC, but unless both connections are being used for
aggregation, I would hope not to have to buy 2 lots of everything and
have special pricing for the standby physical link.

Also - if you don't want the IX it seems you might only have to pay
$200 for just VxC fabric activation, if you are really trying to keep
those costs down.

Time will tell, as Bevan and the team release more info on pricing and
options. It is definitely an interesting concept.

Thanks,
Joe
