That's not so bad. I've got a couple sites under the Telstra congested
exchange program that see 900-2300ms.

Hi AusNOG,

Seeing high latency even to first hop LNS on a couple residential
connections and 1 business.

Ping statistics for 203.12.162.177:
    Packets: Sent = 58, Received = 58, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 54ms, Maximum = 143ms, Average = 78ms

Tracing route to google.com [74.125.237.65]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1    <1 ms     1 ms    <1 ms  xxxxxxxx
  2    68 ms    73 ms    94 ms  nme-nxg-wal-bras4-lo-20.tpgi.com.au[10.20.20.22
4]
  3    90 ms    85 ms    85 ms  203-12-162-177.tpgi.com.au [203.12.162.177]

No doubt due to peak time, but first time I've seen it THIS bad, 30-40ms
max, not 78ms..

Cheers!
