[AusNOG] Simon Hackett's presentation from Comms Day yesterday - NBN fibre on copper prices

I'm surprised Hacket's proposal for RSP-provided NTDs wasn't considered earlier. It's brilliantly simple and solves so many problems.

NBNCo has been trying to maintain consistency in the NTDs they use since the first release sites. As time goes on, this is going to be completely impractical.

We've already had one upgrade of NTDs in Tasmania. Where would this end otherwise?

Quigley had the excellent experience to give us the single vendor for the NBN (gee thanks alcatel)

it's not what you know it's who you know?

I agree though, Simon Hackett for CEO!
