That's the biggest issue I can see with it.
unless its a govt port that you plug your govt supplied equipment into 
for specific govt projects, using it for general purpose govt related 
stuff is going to be a massive support headache.
I mean accessing generic govt services over the magic port from a 
network with a regular RSP internet connection is going to need a fancy 
pants router.

I can see upsides, punters could perhaps to job interviews via video 
through centerlink say without the quality of their budget RSP making 
potential employers hate them before they begin ;->

Are we going to see a proliferation of multi-wan routers in the future 
to allow people to blend services from different ports/RSP into one network?
