[AusNOG] 23 VOIP phones for sale

Some simple rules might do the job:

Equipment sales are not core part of sellers business and

Equipment is potentially useful as part of the ISP core network business
(phones do not fit this category) and

Equipment is significantly cheaper than can be obtained from normal sellers
("free to good home" is always welcome)

Is there really much of a point to that though? The ratio of these posts to
regular posts is very low, and all that I foresee happening with this is
that people find out about AusNOG from somewhere, then they join the main
one and miss out on the other sub-lists.

We have more meta-conversation around the idea of people posting stuff for
sale to the list than we have with people posting stuff for sale to the
list.

We've asked the AUSNOG guys to setup other lists in the past, but we've got
no action.

I'd like to see lists for:

- hardware

- jobs

- general chitchat (so the main list is operational only)

Also +1 and I'd subscribe, I have an entire Siemens HiPath system and phones
that I have no idea what to do with.... I get the feeling ebay will just
result in some variant of ye olde nigeria scam...

How about setting up a separate list for Equipment / IP sales - I'd
certainly subscribe?
To avoid Spam just restrict posts to members only.
