Dear Daniel

We are located in the outer suburbs of Melbourne and are always dealing with infrastructure providers and I'm not aware of any public knowledge detailed fibre database.

I know we keep our own fibre paths under wraps and we also deal with Telstra, Optus, Uecomm, and Pipe and all of these providers also keep it under lock and key. That being said if you ask the correct people they are normally happy to share "your" paths with you after a service is ordered.

Also the further you get out from any CBD location into the suburbs you will find fibre diversity reduces significantly, on the bright side Telstra has fibre almost everywhere and as long as your happy with a 36+ months contract normally the installation cost is very low or even free these days.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Just having some discussions with some members of the community privately this evening,

I was wondering if anyone would know where to source a map of local state based fibre runs around the state?  More specifically around Melbourne,

Just seeking a basic map to see if there is any fibre in a specific area,  Not looking for exact information for security reasons ect,

If anybody can link me a map of Melbourne - Outer Suburbs  that would be great.
