Adam,

I have a reasonable amount of real world experience in this area.

We've used O-ring, Advantech and Korenix hardened switches. Korenix were the
better out of those in my opinion, however, we have now decided to standardise
on the more recent addition to the Brocade ethernet family - the Brocade 6910
for sites where we can fit a rack mounted switch.

This is not too badly priced at around 1300/unit for the hardened version and
have 12 gig SFP/copper combo ports - perfect for edge demarc. They actually
are an OEM unit but they have all the features you would expect - jumbos, QinQ,
PBB, ERP, MSTP, etc.

If you need a DIN rail mounted, check out the Korenix JetNet 6059G

Regards,

Patrick
