Hi Skeeve,
We're working on this right now - we wanted to get the new website live and unfortunately I left a few loose ends.
Also making a clear diagram showing our network/locations for everyone.
Appreciate people's feedback and questions.
Cheers,
Matt

I'd also like to know a list of peers at each pop.... preferably a website which is updated and current.

Hi Joe,
Where are you now peering in Victoria (I assume the same rates apply) and is there any connection back at both pops to WAIX?
Regards,
David

Hi Skeeve,
In order to peer you must be a financial member of WAIA ($500 per annum).
We will/are offering the following peering options;
100mbit - $250ex per month
1GigE - $500ex per month
10GigE - $800ex per month
The hardware used is Juniper EX series switches for the fabric and J-Series for the Route Servers. The IX is dual stacked of course.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
Regards
Joe

Joe,
Let us all know the costs after the free period, speed options, hardware you are based on, any links to other states and anything else you think it would be good for us to know.

WAIA is proud to announce the launch of our Queensland peering point.
We are seeking participants who wish to take part during our start-up phase of operation.
During this stage no costs will be incurred by participants from WAIA.
As an incentive for early adopters who connect and start exchanging data over the peering fabric no later than April 30th 2012 we will offer a further 3 months of no charge peering.
Peers will need to be present at NextDC B1 20 Warf St Brisbane, Pipe DC1/2 127 Creek St Brisbane and Oz Servers DC2, 96 Lytton RD, East Brisbane
WAIA can organise interconnects.
Interested parties can contact joe at waia.asn.au<mailto:joe at waia.asn.au> to learn how to take part or ask further questions.

Joe Wooller
