My suggestion is to seriously consider SMF.

Subject: [AusNOG] Getting some short MMF runs

Hi All,

I'm looking to get some fibre run between some inner metro buildings, basically MDF#1 == Footpath for about 70 meters == MDF#2. No road crossings.

Any recommendations for folks who are willing to do these small jobs (Melb and Syd), and the hard question, what "should" something like that cost?

Cheers,
Graeme.
