[AusNOG] Pipe Fibre Cut affecting anyone? (Sydney)

Does anyone know where they are being cut and if it is infact malicious?



It would seem that it is since it’s happened so many times in a week.

I speculated that it could have been a result of construction at Global
Switch but that's purely a wild guess with no evidence.

PIPE Networks wishes to provide an update to the fibre cut in Sydney
affecting multiple International and metro services.  Our fibre contractors
have located the fault and splicing work is well underway.

The current ETR is approximately 5PM AEST UTC+10, further updates will
be provided as soon as new information is received.
