True.
I'm sure some mission-critical solutions exist with rail kits and several levels of security. (aten springs to mind though haven't actually looked into it)
For a basic setup (Picturing a simple client site with a few workstations and a printer), this below option would do the trick.

I have used a combination of these several years ago as a cheap and simple solution:

Not sure how they are now, but they did the job for a similar situation (remote client site running a relatively simple setup)

I am looking for a remote controlled power switch via telephone line to control the router if the router is out of sync or need to turn ON and OFF. It is for some of my client sites which are far away that need some control over especially weekends.
I will be much appreciated if you let me know the place or web site or recommendation of the particular brand.
