Ok, let me rephrase that ....
"$24.99 per month payable directly to Cisco or indirectly to Cisco through one of their wholesale partners which is even better as Cisco then doesn't have to do the end user billing"
The point was that Cisco now has a product with a monthly recurrent revenue model and that is a first as far as I'm aware. As for the entire "charging $25 per month so your 2 Cisco devices can make free Internet calls" business, I think I'll leave that for others to comment.
