Worse than that in certain highly restrictive societies we see proposals to force national per user id numbers as a mandatory portable part of IPv6 Addresses.
I.e the last digits of your IP address are your fix ID, the first few is your device locator...
Please do not tell Conroy about that one or we will see some horror like that here too.
