And can you say that you are ready to turn IPv6 on now?
It already is. :)
I get my home tail off iiNet however and AFAIK they don't offer IPv6.

IPv6 connectivity is certainly not the norm yet in AU.

A quick scan of the BGP shows the following connectivity or lack of IPv6 connectivity for large Residential ISPs:

Telstra (AS1221) -> the "test network" someone setup a while back via an APNIC tunnel. Reach (AS4637) has some IPv6, interestingly I can see TelstraClear in NZ (AS9901) has a prefix advertised.
Optus (AS7474) -> Zilch, but Singtel (AS7473) does have some IPv6
AAPT (AS2764) -> Zilch, but TNZI (AS4648) does have a prefix advertised
Primus (AS9443) -> Zilch
iiNET (AS4802) -> Zilch
TPG (AS7545) -> Two prefixes advertised, but nothing advertised domestically
Internode (AS4739) -> Awesome IPv6 connectivity and a trial for ADSL customers!

As a lot of people use the first 3 on that list for transit in AU, the lack of IPv6 connectivity is a worry as it prevents the expansion of IPv6 here.

Given that, one of the side effects is that we're going to be left behind in the mobile space as IPv6 native is definitely where everyone else around the world is heading.
