[AusNOG] conroy reaffirms commitment to filter

I think it is. We've yet to put up a decent fight.

I agree with others on this list that we need to take a page from the 
Miners Assoc book and start making a stand.

Think about the image we can paint for the industry - we can show 
customers that we aren't just the geek behind the desk fiddling with 
gadgets.

We're the ones fighting for their rights to continue to use the internet 
privately and freely without outside intervention.

We're the ones fighting to ensure that the internet continues to expand 
and integrate even better.

We're making sure that each and every person has access to the content 
they need on the internet.

We are doing something..for them...for us...for everyone.

I think that the country relies on us. If we don't say something...who 
will? They won't - they don't have near enough understanding to make a 
decent defense.
