I would guess that Equinix was affected by power issues which affected
large areas of Sydney (we noticed some customer sites down).
As per below Global Switch Ops also noticed the outage but they were not
affected.
cheers,

Subject: Transgrid Power Dip - Global Switch Generators Momentarily take
Building Load
Dear Client
At approximately 10:48 today the incoming 33kV main supplies fed from
the Transgrid network experienced a dip in voltage of sufficient level
to initiate an automatic start of the generators. The generators took
the build load with ease and following the programmed minimum run time
of 5 minutes, to confirm the stability of the incoming supply, the
automatic shut down sequence was initiated which returned the building
to mains supply. During this period the no break and short breaker
supplies were maintained as designed with no system operational issues
noted.
Regards
